Nice! November is still early in the rainy season so it should be good weather for you hopefully. We saw lots of orangutans at each feeding station, but we had to wait longer for them to come to Camp Leakey, so that may have been because of the trees fruiting.

Hi Hans. Tanjung Puting is expensive and August is the high season, so it’s going to cost more. For December, the tour I mentioned in the article matches what we paid with a direct booking in Pangkalan Bun (12 million Rp in December for 2 pax). 18 mil sounds steep, but I’ve heard of people paying a lot more. One blogger I read paid almost 50 million for a 4 day tour. Either way, Viator has a lowest price guarantee, so if you find it cheaper somewhere else they’ll match the price.
