Merci pour ton blog qui m’aide beaucoup à préparer mon voyage en novembre prochain.
Nous arrivons en milieu d’après-midi à Makassar et je souhaitais passer cette premiere nuit au Sulawesi à l’éco lodge de Rammang rammang pour être sur place au lever du soleil.
Cependant ton lien renvoie vers booking.com et impossible de reserver une nuit car ils imposent 2 nuits minimum.
Idem sur les autres sites de reservation.
Aurais-tu l’adresse mail de l’éco lodge ? Je voulais les contacter pour savoir si je pouvais booker une seule nuit avec eux ??

Hi Omar, that’s great to hear! Yes, we’ve traveled through Makassar and the Rammang area many times, including late at night and early morning, and I would consider it very safe. The security alert may have been about central Sulawesi, although even there the situation seems to have gotten a lot better lately. Just remember to dress modestly (not bikinis) since Makassar is a conservative Muslim area and that would probably cause offense. I’ve spent months traveling all over Sulawesi without any issues, and always felt safe. Have a great trip!

We have also contacted Dodo, and he’s been super friendly. With my family we decided to go there. We’ll land early in Makassar and we’ll spend one day in the area and we’ll sleep at the Maros Regency lodge. One quick question: we read on our Italian government site that there could be some security alerts in the region of Makassar but we’re unable to understand the entity. Did you perceived any risk in Makassar or were you made aware of some trouble? Thanks for help for the great website, Omar
